Bike City Woodworks

As part of an experiment on growing social channels organically, I used my own woodworking business, Bike City Woodworks, to test strategies and tactics for growing quickly, safely, and organically.

In addition to actually making all of the items featured on this page, I spent eight months engaging with the woodworking community, sharing work, answering questions, and creating products for sale, which resulted in growing from zero to 10,000 followers, collecting 1M total video views, selling over $5,000 in products, and making many friends and acquaintances along the way — all without spending a dime on social advertising.
